Do you suspect that the patient’s scan will be noisy?  I.E. so much artifact from metallic and Zr restorations that merging with models may not be possible?


OR, has your surgical design consultant (like us) communicated with you that there is just too much noise in your CT scan (and, you really need to take another scan with a different protocol)?


OR are both posterior quadrants are fully restored (every posterior tooth position) in PFM and/or Zirconia, or is one posterior quadrant is edentulous and the other posterior arch is fully restored?


If the answer to this is “YES”, you will be taken directly to the appropriate protocol for “noisy” scans.  If “NO”, the wizard will continue.
