Implant Healing Abutments

The healing abutment is an important aspect of your care.  It make sure that the soft gum tissues do not “grow over” your implant.  Healing abutments can also be used in a more advanced manner to custom contour your tissues for your future custom abutment and crown.  Dr. Hart and his Dental School protege have designed a process to customize healing abutments using 3D printing.  While that is awaiting approval, we still make custom healing abutments utilizing computer design.  Click on either image below to learn what healing abutments are all about.
